Powerful but loaded with silicones

I've been using this Retinol at the strength of .20 since October 2019 (10 months now). At first I was very irritated. It's very powerful. My skin has grown used to it now. It really does work and accelerated cellular turnover, the healing of acne as well. It has smoothed out my skin, made my pores smaller, lighted pigmentation, reduced fine lines and wrinkles. I don't like that it's loaded with slicones but I haven't experienced any skin problems during this time. Only negative reaction with irritation (which is understandable). The serum goes on 'greasy' from all the silicones. It sinks in within 20 or so minutes and just leaves a sheen. It's supposed to be used at bedtime so not a problem. Sometimes I use a moisturizer on top of it (in the winter). Otherwise I wake up with really dry skin. It's not meant to moisturize. Just wait at least 30 minutes before applying the moisturizer to allow the retinol to work. The plus to the silicones is that it will push all the active ingredients in your beauty regimen deeper into the skin...but that also means if you're not using 'clean' products, the toxic ingredients get 'pushed' in as well. I hate the silicones, love the efficacy. I haven't found anything else that is as effective that doesn't irritate. I took off one star for the silicones, otherwise, it's a FIVE star item.
