Good, But Pricier than Differin and Essentially the Same

So far, I'm loving adapalene for treating my inflammed acne and closed comedones, since this is one of the only OTC treatments that actually regulates sebum production. However, this product is essentially identical to Differin gel, which is available for a lower price. I only ordered the Proactiv MD system because my mom had suggested it, but once I took a closer look at the ingredients, I found that I couldn't use the facewash because it contained menthol (and is overly-harsh), the toner associated with this system contains alcohol and fragrance, and I hated the moisturizer with SPF because it pilled and very little product was provided. So, the only part of the system I've stuck with is the adapalene gel, and it's just better to buy the Differin gel instead.
