Very hydrating, but also slightly irritating

I was really excited to try this and I do think it is very hydrating for dry skin and it gives me such a nice glow. Unfortunately it made my skin uncomfortable with a very slight burning sensation. It wasn't horrible and I don't know what the cause might have been, but I didn't like the strong smell either. I'm using the tube up, but won't repurchase because of that uncomfortable feeling on my skin and overpowering smell.

Best for Dry Sensitive Skin

I bought this cream for my mom - she has dry and really sensible cream. She cannot tolerate most of the creams - she gets a tingly/itchy sensation and sometimes even a burning one, nothing seemed to really calm/sooth her skin, but this one doesn't give her any sort of negative reactions. So if you have really sensible skin, that's definitely for you. She also said that it feels really good on skin in terms of hydration. Also, I've noticed myself that her skin just after the first use looked much more healthy, like got a natural shine and didn't looks that dull/dry. She uses it for more than a month already, and so far she is still in love with it. Definitely a holy grail for dry sensitive skin.

an okay moisturiser

  • more like 3.5 stars but anyway
  • light bergamot smell from the oil, otherwise there's no fragrance
  • it's a cream that's kind of like a gel, but i feel it's not as quickly absorbed as a gel. it's not that watery either
  • i feel a little goes a long way, and it keeps my skin moisturised
  • however i am just rather sceptical with the inclusion of sea water. i'm curious if that really does change anything, because even witht he niacinamide i do not see much of a brightening effect
  • it's just more hydrating/moisturising for me though, but ymmv
