this is such a unique product! i was sold after reading many reviews from people who hated the product. they hated this because of the stickiness, but that's why i love it. i love sticky products, i love how they make my skin feel and the stickiness doesn't last for more than a few minutes. this is the last product in your routine, it's supposed to bring everything together and seal all the moisture and hydration in. it definitely does, and it feels soooo good patting this into your skin. this feels so cooling and refreshing to my skin.

i tend to work all my skincare products into my skin really well, so i don't have to worry about letting my other products dry down before using this. but if you're someone who doesn't take the time to work in your other products, you might run into issues when using this. all of your other products need to be fully absorbed before you apply this, and when you apply you need to pat it in. DO NOT RUB. i pat all of my products in anyways, but it's super important here. also, rather than getting a huge blob out at once, i tend to place little dots all over my skin (i have the the tube) and once i feel like i've covered my entire face, neck, and chest; then i pat it all in.

i also layer with this product. sometimes i spray some mist and do a second tiny layer. and i use this morning and night. in the mornings i follow with my sunscreen layers. i have yet to run into an issue with this, and i think that's because i pat my products in well (which is why my routine takes so long lmao) and because i do light layers. i definitely recommend this to those with sensitive, dehydrated skin who are working on repairing their moisture barrier. this has been such a fun and interesting addition to my skincare regime. it's definitely a staple.
