not for me

i wanted this product to work on my skin but it only gave me tiny bumps all over my face. it did nothing to my dark spot or acne scars. my skin felt itchy whenever i applied this. i am disappointed that it didn't work for my skin even though it helped a lot of people.

Improvements only when you apply more.

After a couple of months using this product, I can attest that in order for it to make a difference is to use ample amounts of product. With how the packaging is designed, it's pretty much on-spot application in which you can play the miser and have to wait much, much longer to see a difference versus applying more product onto that one spot for days on end. And after a couple of weeks, I've been seeing improvements - lighter and/or fading PIH. My years-old sunspots took a little longer to start fading but hey, this beats waiting for years for something to happen.

Product itself is easy to apply, texture is an oil-like liquid that leaves no residue after absorption. I really, really dig the citrusy scent.

*If your major concern is using too much product and running out of it, worry not. This 20ml tube is still almost full even after a couple months of daily use.

So yeah, this product is definitely bang for your buck.

Definitely Works

The packaging of this is designed to be airtight to prevent oxidation and has a small opening that prevents people from applying too liberally and helps control the amount they use. However, this also means that it's hard to apply all over the face.

It has a light and watery texture that leaves a slight greasy sheen after application. It's definitely a very different texture than anything I've used before. It doesn't feel unpleasant put it makes it confusing when it comes to deciding when to apply it in my routine.

It did not dry me out at all even when I put it in dry and sensitive areas like the sides of my nose. I bought this after I had a breakout and applied once a day all over my face. After 3 days I could see that most of the PIH has visibly faded and was completely gone after a week. It even stopped the growth of 2 of my developing acne (I didn't know vitamin C could do that, but this means that at the very least it doesn't irritate the skin). Other than fading PIH, I haven't noticed any dramatic brightening of my overall skintone after
