Simple and gentle

I like to mix the powder with rose water or Thayers rose mist to dull the Matcha smell.
Matcha usually has a fishy smell to me.
I'll probably purchase a different clay mask in the future, without Matcha.
Message me if you have any alternative recommendations.
My skin: Dry, fair, pale, rarely acne breakout- it's usually on the chin, forehead, or nose.
Due to a sudden outbreak of maskne, I'm ruling out possible malassezia, and now slowly building up a routine.

Simple and effective!

My skin is VERY picky when it comes to ingredients. I put all my face masks through the Skincarisma test, and out of all of them, this was the only one that passed! The best part about it is that although it has minimal ingredients (Which is great!) there are still elements that are good for oily, dry, AND sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive combination skin, this was perfect for me, but I could easily imagine that it would work great with all skin types! The mask is both easy to apply and remove. It does dry fairly quickly, but once I rinse it off my skin doesn't feel too dry or tight. The fine pigmentation of the powder makes it easy to mix--It does say to use a teaspoon of the powder and mix it with a few drops of water, but I find it easier to apply a smaller amount of powder and spread it out in the palm of my hand before adding the water, and then adding additional powder and water in small amounts until I reach the consistency I want. This gives me the flexibility to make a thinner mixture to spread allll over my face, or a thicker paste that I can apply to select areas. This mask has been working great for me and makes my face feel fresh, soft, and renewed, so I only apply it about once a week on average unless I'm having a stressful week and need an extra boost. It's easy to get ahold of, too--I found it at Target! This is definitely going to be a permanent staple in my skincare collection. Highly recommend!!
