It's really good at healing acne overall, but I ended up using it as a spot treatment because of the texture. I lowered the rating to 4 because the texture is that bad.
I don't have much acne. But I still have little pimple sometimes because of the humid weather where I live. And this one really help to clear it up just in one night.
But I don't recommend this for sensitive skin, skin azelaic acid is like exfoliation, can cause tingling and redness when you first applying. But if you still want to try it, I recommend apply moisturizer first and wait for it all dry then apply azelaic acid and you will be fine :D I don't have much acne. It is also good to fade dark spots and new red acne scarsscars
I started using this Azelaic Acid about a month ago for my type 2 rosacea. I was pretty skeptical at first because I had tried so many different treatments in the past and nothing worked for my pustules. I saw an improvement after just a few days of use. I can't believe it! I now use it in combination with the Niacinamide+Zinc and my skin is looking great! I mean, I still have a long way to go until I get rid of all my pustules, but there are a lot less noticeable now. My skin is finally smooth. I highly recommend this for pustular rosacea. I experienced absolutely no side effects.
you guys!,
this product is the only one my sensitive skin can tolerate: i got and still get acne (actually just spots nowadays) and everytime i see something inflammed (they always start inflamed: red, hot spots that would turn into huge cystic acne..) coming up, i smear this azelaic acid cream as my last step of my nighttime routine onto the spots (be aware - it does clog pores if used on the whole face..) and the next day the inflammation is pretty much non existend anymore! i really rely on it!
