Caused large breakout but worked overall

Skin Type: oily Skin

initially it caused my pores to seemingly erupt. Perhaps it was purging my skin. Overall it smoothed out the texture of my skin and brightened my complexion. Would recommend pairing it with a good hydrator and an acne spot treatment that can be layered.

Glowing skin, fast!

I've had great results from using products with niacinamide (in sheet mask especially) and so when I saw this product on The Ordinary I was excited to try it.

At first I use it on its own, after toner. However sometimes it will pills, and worsen if used on dry skin. I'd suggest to use it when your toner is not fully dried, or like what I did not is mixing it with other serum. I mixed 1:1 part of this serum and Scinic Honey All-In-One Ampoule. No pilling and really pleasant to use.

This serum have no smell, the texture is a bit slippery and just easy to spread. I use it in my PM routine.

The result for me is just, mindblowing. After 3x using it is clear that this serum gives my face a healthy glow after I wake up in the morning. My skin looks healthy and not dull at all. I really makes me happy and just a great way to start your morning. The glow lasts all day too.

I've also noticed that my acne scar is fading at a faster rate. Nowadays if I have an acne I'll be calm and just let the niacinamide handle the scarring left behind. Other pigmentation also lightens, my suntans are fading too.

It is slightly hydrating, and feels comfortable on my oily skin. I don't see and oil controlling benefits from this serum however. It works well under makeup too.

I also like to use this serum before sheet masking. Just an extra boost of brightening.
Overall I really like this serum and I've bought backups before I finish the first bottle. If you're looking for brightening serum, this is it.

One of the best actives for oily skin
Reviewed
Skin Type: oily Skin
Skin Concerns: Anti-Aging (Fine lines & Wrinkles), Blackheads, Large Pores, Dehydrated Skin, Uneven Skin Tone

For my huge pores it made a great difference when I used it in the morning, they were smaller and tighter. Kept oiliness at bay for 10+ hours. The only problem with this formulation is that it pills awfully under sunscreen (organic or mineral) and makeup. Currently I use it in the evenings only, but I can still see results the next day. I guess that the ingredients for a more pleasurable texture (silicones maybe?) would interfere with the absorption of the actives in the skin.
