Refreshing Mask

I used this mask this morning, this is my first I'm Real mask, and I actually liked it. The mask's pouch states this is a purifying mask but it actually feels more refreshing and hydrating than purifying. It also has on the back "Makgeoli mask makes uneven skin tone look radiant and glowing". The phrase "skin purifying" made me think more of cleaning clogged pores (which usually leaves you feeling more matte, reduced pores, etc.) but the actual explanation on the back seems more accurate as to what this mask does.

When you open the pouch, the mask has a really nice scent, very light and refreshing. The sheet is very saturated with the product in the pouch. Though I didn't have it in the fridge, it felt cooling to the touch. The sheet's fabric is very soft, comfortable and fits nicely on the face. It was very easy to apply without struggling to make it fit with eyes, nose and mouth. I'm not sure if it's made of pure cotton, it doesn't say on the pouch, but it feels like a nice cotton sheet mask. I was only drinking my tea and checking my emails while wearing it but it didn't shift or slide down like I've experienced with other sheet masks.

I'm not sure if it was me but I felt a slight tingling sensation while wearing it. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything but it sort of makes you think something is working. I left it on for about 30 minutes. When I removed it, my face looked refreshed, glowy and very hydrated. Pore-wise, I don't see much of a difference but I did notice a slight redness reduction. The serum left behind by the mask really makes your skin look radiant, which for me, having combo skin, doesn't always work well. It's been about 45 minutes since I removed the mask and skin doesn't look oily on the T zone yet, just glowy/dewy so that's a good thing.

I'm thinking if you don't have major pore concerns and just want a hydration/radiance boost, you are going to enjoy this mask.

I liked the scent of this mask, it's kinda milky but at the same time it's sweet. Just like the rest of the I'm real masks, it's easy to apply and feels nice. It reduced a little bit my redness the next morning but I didn't feel any different about my pores and blackheads. It's very hydrating and soothing. I'll definitely use this again, because it's cheap, smells nice, has good quality, does get some results and makes your skin look better, though I prefer the Rice Mask. There's nothing to dislike in this mask, because even the ingredients are extremely healthy (makgeoli contains A LOT of probiotics), but you need to apply it a lot of times to see some real results starting to appear.

My 4 star feels more like a 4,5 star, because I don't consider this a holy grail, but it's really worth it!
