I found that this worked much better when I was a teenager. While it's still ideal for my super sensitive skin and has the added bonus of some evening tone, it doesn't control my hormonal flareups as much these days. A permanent breakup may be imminent, but hey, it gets the job done with it's silken smooth and soothing lather. I can't complain much. I try other things after having my fill of this, but end up coming back to this old friend.

This is a really good cleanser. It is not moisturizing, but it is gentle. My HG night cleanser is the vanicream bar. The bar is actually a low ph cleanser. This one i do well with occasionally but i cant use it daily bc it is too alkaline & i end up being really itchy. But i save it to use when my skin is not sensitive or more oily (i am normal sometimes dry/dehydrated)

I have very sensitive skin, tiny fungal acne bumps on my forehead, and a few red bumps on my cheek.

Every cleanser I ever use breaks me out, the only things that have not are simple micellar water and DICKINSONS witch hazel.

I used witch hazel as a cleanser for a long time and it works great but after a year my skin started to get texture and bot feel as clean despite using chemical exfoliants like normal.

I decided I would try this cleanser in hopes that my skin would feel cleaner, but it did not. My forehead was not really flaring up but it did using this product for two days, and I even got a pimple on my eyebrow. The bumps on my left cheek was starting to go down, but got super big, red and itchy with this. More bumps around it as well.

However, the right side of my face, which is normal, and my oily nose did not react at all. I think under normal conditions this would be a good product, it just did not work well for my skin unfortunately.

I used to not like gentle cleanser but after I started my tretinoin journey and know I had to find a gentle cleanser but still can clean your face probably and this cleaner is the best. I already re-purchased the 2nd bottle and do not plan to find any new or upgrade my cleanser because this cleaner already do the best. Very gentle to my skin, clean it probably but still leave my skin soft and moisturing after. Absolutely love it.
Highly recommend this for people who has sensitive skin, or on a heavy treatment journey (fighting acne, fighting scars,...)

It feels very soft on your skin and cleans very well.
It didn't cause me any break outs and I recently discovered I have fungal acne. Im sticking with this gentle cleanser forever after trying with other products that didn't work for my skin.

If you are looking for a gentle cleanser, this is it!

This is my default cleanser. I've been using this cleanser and the Vanicream Lite Lotion as a "reset" while I try to figure out how to tackle my skin issues. It is not a holy grail lotion by any means, but it cleans my skin without irritating or drying it out. I feel that this would be suitable for sensitive, combination or dry skin types but I'm not sure that it would be "enough" for acne prone or oily skin types.
