Smell Nice, Pretty Packaging, Bad Reaction

I used to think makeup wipes were the only makeup remover and I loved pink and citrus things, so I tried these wipes. They consistently made my eyes and cheeks burn and turn red, it felt hot and stingy. I desperately wanted to like them so I assumed it had something to do with excessive amounts of makeup being worn or a reaction to a different product but it really was just the wipes. Now that I know better I wish I hadn't done so much damage to my skin at such a young age.
I'm sure these could work for something else, maybe deodorant wipes or something? They smell nice and have nice cool moisture so honestly that might be a good use (this is not a dig).
