Great value for your money!

When it comes to cleansers I don't want to pay a lot of money since I'm on a budget, I just want something simple that does the job. But like many I've been intrigued with the idea of adding double-cleansing to my routine, so I needed an oil-based cleanser (which I had never used before). So I can't compare this product to other oil-based cleansers, but I can tell you I got exactly what I wanted from it.

It has a very light consistency and is easily applicable, not like the heavier oils I sometimes use as part of my moisturizing routine. And although it does include some fragrance it has a pleasant smell I don't find it overpowering - and, more importantly, it doesn't bother my skin. Which I did worry about, since my skin can be sensitive. Instead this cleanser leaves my face feeling soft, including after I bring in the second cleanser for the next step in my routine. I do have dry skin and feel that adding this product to my routine has actually helped moisturize my skin and keep it supple, instead of the double-cleansing working to dry out my skin out further as I had feared.

In short, although more expensive oil cleansers may bring in more exciting and hydrating ingredients this cleanser did the job for me and its price makes it a definite must-buy. If it's not broke, don't fix it!

very effective and not expensive

I have been using The Body Shop cleansing oil for few years and I have decided to try this one for change. I have to say I have been quite surprise from the first use of it. It has very light consistency which allows to spread it all over the face very easily. It dissolves all makeup, including mascara, within few seconds. It can be easily rinse off with the water only and it leaves skin clean and moisturized. I use double cleanse in the evening routine and this oil makes it easy and effective. When bough on offer is less then 5 GBP so its brilliant price for what it does. I will be coming back to this one in the future.
