Key Features
Triple Ceramide Complex
Contains Ceramide NP, AP, and EOP to restore and reinforce the skin's natural lipid barrier, preventing transepidermal water loss.
Multi-Layer Hydration
Glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, and panthenol work together as humectants to attract and bind moisture at multiple levels of the skin.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
Brightens uneven skin tone, strengthens the skin barrier, and reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines.
Weightless Whipped Texture
Rich-yet-lightweight formula absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or heavy residue, making it comfortable for all-day wear.
Soothing Oat & Shea
Oat kernel flour calms irritation while shea butter provides deep emollient benefits with antioxidant protection.
Eco-Conscious Packaging
Airless pump jar made from 50% recycled plastic for hygienic dispensing and reduced environmental impact.
Safety
Contains Ethylhexyl Salicylate (Octisalate), a chemical UV filter that is a salicylate derivative. While it is not the same as salicylic acid, some healthcare providers advise caution with salicylate-based ingredients during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before use.
Contains Shea Butter (fatty acids C12-C24), Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, and Cetearyl Alcohol, which can feed malassezia yeast. Not recommended for those with active fungal acne or pityrosporum folliculitis.
The overall formula has a low comedogenic risk. Shea Butter rates 0-2, Dimethicone rates 1, and Cetearyl Alcohol rates 2. Most users should not experience clogged pores.
No added fragrance or essential oils, making it suitable for sensitive and reactive skin types. Benzyl alcohol is used as a preservative at low concentration.
Contains no drying or denatured alcohols. Cetearyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol that functions as an emollient, not a drying agent.
Formulated by Agency's board-certified dermatology team, led by Associate Medical Director Dr. Whitney Tolpinrud, M.D., to complement prescription-strength skincare routines.
Key Ingredients
GlycerinProven
A superstar humectant that draws moisture into the skin and maintains lipids in a healthy liquid crystal state. Listed second in the formula, indicating a high concentration for maximum hydration.
- Function: Humectant, skin-identical ingredient
- Research: A 2016 study found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid
- Comedogenic: 0 — does not clog pores
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)Proven
A multi-functional active that brightens skin, reduces pore appearance, strengthens the barrier, and boosts ceramide synthesis. Most effective at 4-5% concentration.
- Function: Skin brightening, anti-acne, cell-communicating, barrier support
- Research: Multiple studies confirm efficacy at 2-5% for reducing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and redness
- Synergy: Increases natural ceramide production, complementing the triple ceramide complex
Triple Ceramide Complex (NP, AP, EOP)Proven
Three essential ceramides that mimic the skin's natural lipid barrier. Ceramides make up approximately 50% of the skin's intercellular lipids and are crucial for barrier integrity.
- Ceramide NP (Ceramide 3): Maintains moisture retention and barrier structure
- Ceramide AP (Ceramide 6): Supports healthy skin cell turnover
- Ceramide EOP (Ceramide 1): Contains linoleic acid, plays a binding role in lipid layers
Sodium HyaluronateProven
The salt form of hyaluronic acid with a smaller molecular weight, allowing better skin penetration. Acts as a water-binding sponge to maintain deep hydration.
- Function: Skin-identical humectant that can hold up to 1,000x its weight in water
- Research: Clinically proven to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and reduce fine lines
Shea ButterProven
A rich natural emollient from African Karite Trees packed with vitamins A, E, and F, plus antioxidants like quercetin and epigallocatechin gallate. Regenerates, soothes, and protects skin.
- Function: Emollient, antioxidant, UV-protective, anti-inflammatory

How to Use
Cleanse
Start with a clean face. Use the Agency Cloud Care Cream Oil Cleanser or your preferred gentle cleanser to remove dirt, makeup, and impurities.
Apply Treatments (Optional)
If using serums, prescription formulas (like Agency's Future Formula), or active treatments, apply them first and let them absorb for 1-2 minutes.
Moisturize
Press the airless pump to dispense a pea-sized amount. Gently massage into face and neck using upward circular motions until fully absorbed.
Protect (AM Only)
In the morning, follow with a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen. While this moisturizer contains Ethylhexyl Salicylate, it does not provide adequate standalone sun protection.
Skin Type Compatibility
Triple ceramides, shea butter, and hyaluronic acid provide rich, lasting hydration. The whipped texture delivers deep moisture without feeling heavy. Ideal for dry and dehydrated skin.
Perfectly balanced formula maintains hydration and strengthens barrier without overloading the skin. Great everyday moisturizer for normal skin types.
Lightweight enough for the T-zone while providing sufficient hydration to drier areas. The niacinamide helps balance oil production across zones.
Contains shea butter and dimethicone which may feel slightly heavy for very oily skin, particularly in humid weather. Niacinamide helps manage sebum, but a gel-cream may be preferred.
Fragrance-free, alcohol-free formula with soothing oat and panthenol. Gentle enough to use after chemical peels and alongside prescription retinoids. Patch test recommended for very reactive skin.
Low comedogenic rating (1-2) and contains pore-minimizing niacinamide. However, not suitable for fungal acne. Works well to buffer irritation from acne-fighting prescription treatments.
Specifically designed with anti-aging concerns in mind. Ceramides restore barrier integrity that declines with age, while niacinamide and hyaluronic acid visibly plump and smooth fine lines.

Product Overview
Quick product notes are a great way to check if a product is free from commonly avoided ingredients by skincare enthusiasts. These preferences come about for different reasons depending on the ingredient such as personal experiences, sensitivities, health preferences & etc.
Just because a product is not free from a common preference does not mean it's a bad product! You can make a personal decision whether or not you want to use a product that contains these ingredients or not - click the labels of the preference to read more about them.
Quick Product Notes
Ever used a product that promised a certain effect but provided no results? It might not have contained any notable ingredients that could have been responsible for that promised effect. It doesn't matter what the marketing or packaging «promises» it can do, if it doesn't contain anything that can help - then the likelihood of it helping is low.
We help you identify key notable ingredients that have been shown to help with effects such as acne-fighting, brightening, UV-protection, wound healing & anti-aging to help you achieve your skincare goals smarter. Please note that different notable ingredients have varying levels of research behind them, some are extremely well proven yet some have mixed research in their efficacy.
Just because a product doesn't contain any notable ingredients doesn't mean it's bad. And a product with notable ingredients (or even many) doesn't necessarily guarantee the efficacy of the product performing these effects either. There are other factors such as ingredient quality, concentration and formulation that will ultimately determine this.
Be smart and use this as just a starting point for you to make more informed and smarter choices and compare it with reviews to see if the product is right for you
Notable Effects & Ingredients
Why are some products great for some people and horrible for others? Well everyone has different skin types and different reactions to the same ingredients.
We've identified a range of ingredients that are commonly regarded as potentially good or bad for those with Dry, Oily/Acne-Prone or Sensitive skin.
A product that contains good or bad ingredients for your skin type doesn't always flat out make the entire product good or bad for your skin. There are other factors such as ingredient quality, concentration and formulation that will ultimately determine your skins reaction.
One of the best ways to use this section is to troubleshoot products you've had bad experiences with in the past. Check if it contains any of the marked ingredients to point out suspect ingredients to avoid in the future!

Ingredient Safety Breakdown refers to the percentage % of ingredients in different risk categories as classified by EWG (Environment Working Group) if they are available. There are almost endless cosmetic ingredients and they are one of the few organisations globally that have assigned ratings to a lot of the more commonly used ingredients which is why we reference them.
EWG is seen by many to be more on the alarmist side in their assignment of health ratings resulting in rating ingredients as riskier than they actually are. We recommend using this a reference point rather than a strict guide of ingredient safety and to always do further research if into ingredients that you may find suspect.
