Rating Breakdown
Community: 4 Ratings • 3 ReviewsThis has been pretty good to my skin and it's been a pleasure to use. A few cons here and there, but it's still a pretty good product especially like my skin type sensitive and oily.
It helps clean my face but sometimes but skin tingles from using it, it does not clear blackhead and kinda have low ph, it does not tighten your skin which is good, not foamy, does not cause any big acne fiesta, do dry your skin without a moisturizer if you use it too much, use it for 5 months already and it is just good enough, at least better than cetaphil cleanser
I'm 46 . I'm Caucasian , fair/medium skin tone . I have combination ,ultra sensitive and reactive skin. I am also prone to acne infact I still have yet to find a moisturiser that will not leave my skin blotchy , itchy and pimply. I have tried all the oils possible and nope , oils directly agree with my skin.
But this cleanser? Leaves my skin matte and calm . Perhaps not ultra moisturising no , but completely calm and reduces redness for sure.
Simplest ingredients that work magic
To remove my makeup I initially use a scent free baby oil ( liquid paraffin based-totally inert as well) and then follow with this cleanser. Or possibly the Avene extreme tolerance cleansing lotion. Still testing it though because of the squalane .
Then, on still damp skin and just around the eye area, I moisturise with Locobase or Aquaphor. Aquaphor seems to sort of slightly crease my skin but still testing that too. I make my own zinc oxide paste which calms the tzone perfectly ( great on bug bites, rashes etc).
Locobase is a fab product, full of ceramides and skin identical components , no fragrance and no preservatives.
Can't understand why it's not more well known. I will contact the company to enquire!
