Need to pack it on in order to get the hydration

This is exactly what Purito promises you: a good, affordable nighttime moisturizer, ideal for keeping the skin barrier healthy. The thing with this moisturizer however is that you really need to layer it on in order to get the hydration. If I apply only one layer without following up with an oil or another moisturizer, my skin will feel as if I never even used a moisturizer. However if I apply two layers, my skin feels nice, supple and hydrated, but it's so packed on that it takes a while to absorb and you'll be left with cream streaks here and there. I think it may be due to the formulation. It doesn't bother me that much considering it's for nighttime, but I do think there are better alternatives so I didn't repurchase.
