I wanted to love this but...

I have golden-toned acne prone combination skin. I saw this product being raved about all over social media for hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and comedones, which are all prevalent on my skin. I used it for maybe a day or two and my skin darkened severly under my eyes and at the corners of my mouth. Those areas are typically darker on my skin but it had become unusually dark in those areas after using this product. That seemed like a huge contradiction given that the product was supposed to help my hyperpigmentation and not worsen it. While I do think when it came to the comedones it was helpful, I don't think those benefits outweighed the severe hyperpigmentation that resulted from its use. Looking at the ingredients list now without prior knowledge before purchasing, I can see how some of the contents may have irritated my skin. Even so, I don't normally have sensitive skin and have been able to use pretty high-powered exfoliants (retinoid) successfully without any irritation. Overall, I think if you have sensitive skin or are darker-toned, I'd use caution before purchasing this since my skin is not typically sensitive and I am darker toned. I definitely will not be purchasing this product again.

Amazing

I have never been one to really like putting on toner. I know it's a great thing to use and does wonders for your skin, but after trying multiple different toner (including Witch Hazel), I found it to be a tedious routine with no real benefits. That is until I found the Ole Henriksen toner! OMG this toner has done wonders for my skin. I initially began using it after coming back home from a 2 week trip in India. My skin was dehydrated, my pores were clogged, and overall my skin looked dull. After using this stuff for only a week I noticed a huge difference in the way my skin looked. It looked brighter, more even, and had a general glow to it. I will continue to use this product!!!
