I try to incorporate some actives into my skincare routine to help cell turnover. Had a little trial around May or June.

I try to use acids that do not make the skin photosensitive, since I have some dark spots from the sun/heat. So I prefer BHAs and PHAs, and avoid AHAs. I used the liquid after cleansing the skin during the weekends, but am taking a break with it.

I have read a lot about retinols and its derivatives, other sibling forms and tried the retinol serum (once a week as the last step), but will use it again when we are going into the colder months.

While using these products my skin got more red than tan, so had to take a break from them. I am out in the sun so much, that I have to take into consideration protecting the skin while minimizing the effects of the heat. So am dividing my products in general along these lines.
