I first saw a lot of advertisements for this foundation online and how it could help heal acne, which is was skeptical about at first. Then, I saw this foundation at Sephora and thought it would be fun to try. I prefer powder foundations that do not feel heavy on my face. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup and I don't like the cakey look, so I was skeptical if this would be too full coverage. However, I was proven wrong.

This foundation is a light coverage but can be built up to a medium coverage. I use it with the charcoal brush, and it works very well. The foundation is in a loose powder form, and perfectly melts into the skin. It controls all oil and will last for hours without needing a touch up. The one problem I had with it was that it did not blend well into the skin, and looked a little cakey in the nose area.

The brush works very well with it and buffs the makeup in. I do not like that there is a lot of fallout with the application, and if I am wearing a dark color like black then there will be fallout over all my shirt.

I do not think that it has greatly improved my acne, but it does cover it well and minimizes its appearance.

I have sensitive skin, and I have not had any problems with irritation. I do not think the concentration of salicylic acid is very high, so maybe that is why it has not irritated me.
