Great primer, but is it worth the excess fragrance chemicals?

This product is great on top of other moisturizers, especially when applying it to the skin before makeup. It smells AMAZING (which is not always a good sign for your skin!) and it has an airy, but at the same time thicker, pore-filling texture. It looked great under makeup - my skin looked flawless! However, once I ran out of this product, I doubt that I will repurchase because of the price, as well as the irritating chemicals in it. It was not hydrating alone, even though it is marketed as a moisturizer. I feel like many people would buy this thinking it will be moisturizing, but it is definitely more of a moisturizing primer to me. I imagine this will be better for somebody with oily skin or normal skin.
