Not good enough to use as a night cream for dry skin, but great for day cream!

This product is my all-time favourite winter daytime moisturizer. Here's why:

  • It's incredibly smooth, which works great under makeup
  • It doesn't leave a shine or oily feel onto my skin
  • It's thick enough to protect my skin in the harsh winter weather (I live in Finland)

Initially, I bought it to use as a night cream because it was so thick. However, I soon realized that it was not moisturizing enough for my very dry skin and started using it as a day cream as the last step of my winter daytime routine. It works great underneath makeup, which is wonderful since it usually means I don't even have to wear primer! I highly recommend this product for fellow dry skinned peeps :)

It’s really moisturizing!

This cream stays true to its name. The cream has a really solid, butter like texture (like when you just took out the butter out of the fridge). But if you warm it up in your palm/ on the tip of your fingers/ on the back of your hand then it melts really easily so you can put the cream on your face smoothly (only take a pea sized amount!! More is harder to work it in and can feel greasy) The cream instantly melts into your skin, after like 5-10 minutes it completely absorbs into your skin. Your skin will be glowing in the morning! (it's not oily/greasy though) I only use it in the evening (maybe on a winter morning, I have normal/ combination skin on the drier side)
Now about the scent, it smell like freshly cut grass and a fresh scent of roses/rose garden. It's not overwhelming, not so strong but not so subtle either. I have a sensitive nose but I wasn't uncomfortable by it, but at first it threw me off. I also have sensitive skin, it haven't broke me out nor it worsen my pimples so it's okay to use for sensitive skin, but it's a hit or miss because of the fragrance.
Overall I recommend it to people with dry-combination-normal skin, oily skin fellas might have to pass on this. It's a good cream! Also really cost effective, because it has a really solid texture and your really only need a little bit of it, it will last you a very long time to finish it, maybe 3-4 or even 4-5 months!
