Pros
- Evened out skin tone
- Reduced PIH and PIE
- Did not pill my sunscreen and worked well sitting under moisturizer, sunscreen and make up
- Absorbs really fast into the skin and has an interesting dry texture which lets you quickly apply whatever you want on top
- Glowing skin
- My very sensitive eczema riddled skin handled this quite well
Cons
- Didn't mix well with my The Ordinary serums and caused pilling whenever I used them together
- Didn't fix my melasma, or freckles/sun damage
- Expect some purging when using this, however it is minimal
- Photosentizing to the sun
- Expensive, although worth it considering the texture is the best out of all the Vitamin C serums out there
Should you buy it?
Yes If you want to even out your skin tone, reduce PIH/PIE and are looking for an antioxidant to help your sunscreen out.
No If you want to continue using The Ordinary's Niacinamide serum or if you want something to lighten deeper hyperpigmentation like sun damage and hormonal/genetic melasma.
