A soothing first cleansing step.

This has been a great alternative to other cleansing balms I've tried in the past. I like in particular how not too much product is required and that it readily melts down in my hands into a light feeling oil. How easily it melts is nice for minimising the amount of rubbing my face I have to do to massage it as an oil. The balm is also easy to massage a little water into for the milky stage and rinses off without any residue. I've found it to be good at breaking down my makeup (base makeup and mascara) and sunscreen, although I don't use any waterproof products so don't know how it would perform with those.

The product does have a warm, somewhat floral scent. I find it inviting however it does linger a little after rinsing away so those who are looking to avoid scents may want to take that into account.

I've been testing this cleansing balm for just under three weeks, having received the product as a 'beauty tester'. It feels very comparable to my current favourite balm cleanser (Green Clean), but with a different scent profile, so it's great to have found a perfect alternative.
