no longer works for my skin

i used to love this lotion as my daytime moisturiser but that was way before they added EX on their label. i have yet to compare the ingredient list between the EX and non-EX version but my skin loves the older, non-EX version more. i think this feels a little, if not slightly thicker than the old version and not as runny. i end up with potential fungal acne around my undereyes and cheeks which is funny considering how my U-zone is normal to dry. i think this new version works better for someone with really dehydrated/dry skin.
