Disappointment and grey shade

I read so much positive feedback I had to try it.
But the product is quite disappointing: a heavy texture that feels like a mask on the skin (quite good covering), a a grayish tone that looks very fake, enhances dry patches but at the same time make oily skin shiny (although I always but moisturizer under the bb cream), makes pores look larger and clogs them. The only positive about it is the SPF and the fact it does not irritate. I can't believe it looks so bad having a good composition :(

The best bb cream for sensitive acne prone skin✨

This is a must have!!! because it's non comedogenic & non clog pores. it's good for dry skin and it's have yellow tone, so when i used it i feel like comfortable skin. and I found that this bb cream is medium coverage, cover large pores, long lasting and can be waterproof, so I recommended it for dry & sensitive skin, if you have oily skin, it'll so a little bit sticky and cakey.

This product only has one shade and it is too bright for my skin tone. I wear #23. The coverage is barely even there but that’s what I like about this product. It makes you look like you are wearing nothing on your face. It also gives your face a glowy finish although it can be a little bit oily at the end of the day.
What I don’t really like about this product is it breaks me out. I always get a few pimples after using it.

Good product if you work with it, poor shade selection

As other reviewers have said, this comes in one shade, which is a fair-light slightly warm-toned yellow. This color does not suit my skin personally unless I am tanned in the summer, as it's too warm and too dark for my natural skin tone. That said, this color probably only works on those who wear somewhere around an Asian #21 (I wear #13), which is in contrast to their claim that "Klairs’ unique smart color system is suitable for any skin type and tone." I know that many AB products come in very few shades, but not even the people I know with Korean heritage could use this product, and given how typical AB foundations and BBs are greyed, the brighter warm color of this is a bit confusing to me, since the trend for these types of products is usually lighter and slightly grey and cool to give a "brightening" effect.

Color aside, I find I like this product if I work with it properly. It is not, nor is it claiming to be, a full-on base product/foundation. The coverage is NOT fantastic, but it's not supposed to be- it's supposed to give a subtle, "your skin but better" kind of glow to the skin. I find this product does that, mostly. I get light to medium coverage, depending upon application, and it gives a glow without being too dewy or sparkly. It does not cover my melasma, but it does a good job in covering up most of my redness in my cheeks and overall evening out my skin tone. Do I think it lives to the claim of "all skin types?" I don't know, as I only have my skin-type, but I find for my dry skin this works well, and even when I'm in a more humid environment and my skin is more normal, I still like this product.

On its own and with typical application, this product can slide around even on my dry skin. It does not dry down and will need to be set if you are going to put any powder products on top. I haven't had any issue with setting this base. Sometimes, this product looks like it will settle on top of the skin- I found that using a blending sponge makes this happen more. To fix this, I will work it into my skin- yes, a bit like a lotion although I do manipulate it less. I also find that mixing it with another foundation or bb can help, too- personally, as this color is too warm and too dark for my non-tanned skin, I prefer to mix it. Results of course vary based on what I'm mixing with, but mixing with a base that is slightly too matte for me works well.

I will say that this is not very long-lasting, but it doesn't break up on my skin either. Again, we have to judge this product based on what it claims to do and be. If long-wearing, full-coverage is your goal, this is not the product for you. But if your goal is a subtle glow that evens out most of your lighter discolorations that looks natural and is no-fuss, then this product works beautifully. I have worn it on many date nights in the late summer and while traveling in the tropics and have found it works beautifully.

One of the best from this that I tried, but not ideal

This cream perfectly levels skin color and hides pores, without corking them and without causing an acne exacerbation✅. It didn't cause a boring, the skin after it on the contrary looks more moisturized, healthy and shining, smoothes wrinkles 👌. Covering degree from mild to average, won't hide strong defects. The shade one, universal, will suit people with a light skin, but it can be admixed with other foundations to achieve more dark shade. The subtone is beige, not gray.

There are 2 disadvantages: it is not resistant, imprints on the screen and there is no sebum control promised , gloss appears in a couple of hours😕

Seem to make my dry skin look patchy

My thoughts on Klairs illuminating supple blemish cream
I am really not a fan of this one. Before I bought it, I heard so much good things about it and thought that I just had to test it out.

The first thing that got me confused is that this only comes in one shade. So, if you are on the darker side of pale, this won’t suit you. I am usually a 23 when it comes to Korean product, and this is too light for me. One really nice thing with it thought, is that it actually has yellow undertones and not grey. If I want to wear this without bronzer I really have to mix it with a darker shade (I did not do that for this review though).

I do really like the packaging. It is simple and hygienic and you can get all of the product out of the tube.

The coverage is really light, but it is buildable. And for the claims that it covers pores and redness I would definitely say it is a fail. It applies really smooth and easy but I still have problems to get it too look nice on my skin. Some how it seems to stick to every dry patch of my face, even if I exfoliate before it enhances the dryness on my skin.

The surface of my skin looks uneven and almost powdery, so it really feels that it stays on top of my skin without blending into my skin at all.
If I layer the BB cream, it does a great job in cancelling my redness. But by adding more product it also seems to settle in my lines.

In the beginning, it feels really nice on my skin, but after a short time I really need to mist my face due to that it becomes dry again. It does set nicely and does not leave any stickiness on the skin. The finish is semi dewy and that is a finish I do prefer

The scent is really strong and I think it smells really, hmmm how to put this, well, not nice. I am really sensitive to products that are highly fragranced, and you might think it smells fine.

On my skin the claims of this products don’t seem be correct at all. Except that the redness is covered nicely when layering this product.
