Let me start off by saying I LOVE Great Barrier Relief and Beet the Sun and I love this company. Unfortunately, this product did not work for me at all. I usually use Vanicream gentle facial cleanser and the moment I switched to using this my skin felt tight and itchy after using. I have continued to use it a few more times and each time have the same issue. Additionally, I have some small bumps that have started to form. I know there is an ingredient or two in here that may cause fungal acne. It could also just be an allergy to something in this. This was the ONLY product change in my routine. I will say it was pleasant to use in terms of texture/scent. I seem to be the oddball out, as most others seem to have had nothing but a positive experience with this. I didn’t want to leave a bad review but my skin is tight, and just burns and itches so badly (when it never did before using this.) I also don’t want to deter ppl from trying, but just realize you sadly cannot return it once you have used it.

Ever since this came out I've been dying to get it, I order it on eBay since Krave doesn't ship worldwide, so I pay a bit more for it but it's totally worth it. This cleanser has a jelly-like texture with little beads of matcha (I suppose) in it. It feels a bit sticky but I enjoy that feeling because it makes the cleanser very fun to use. I use it after my Heimish All Clean Balm as a second step cleanser. It's very gentle and doesn't dry out my dehydrated/combination skin at all. I only use it at night because I prefer to cleanse my skin with lukewarm water in the morning, but if you like cleansing your skin in the morning this would be a suitable cleanser. I always look forward to using it because of the fun texture. I never thought using a cleanser could be a fun and enjoyable experience until I came across this one! It doesn't perform miracles in terms of acne/oil control or other skin issues, but I don't expect that from a cleanser. All I'm looking for in a cleanser is that it's hydrating, gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, which this one absolutely does.

This is a very gentle cleanser with a jelly-like texture. It smells very herbal – like you're smearing matcha all over your face, which at first I didn't really like but got used to it after a while. I normally take my eye makeup off with micellar water, then double cleanse with an oil cleanser and this one. My skin feels nice and clean without being stripped, so it's actually hydrating. Bonus points for low pH (around 5.0-6.0) and the beautiful packaging! Would buy again.
