Fast results for my skin

I have bought it many times before because it reduces scars when used 1x or 2x a day. It may slightly burn after using for a month or so. I would say it's good for some sensitive skin types because it doesn't seem to contain strong perfumes that people are allergic to. I have sensitive skin but I'm not allergic to glycolic acid. Bad for rosaecia symptoms but if you have scars you want to fade then this is your friend. it lightly peels off my skin without a scrub or peeling necessary. Using this toner is less intimidating than a full peel every 2 weeks. Worth repurchasing, and the glycolic acid concentration is enough to treat my problem.

Exfoliates well

This toner exfoliates extremely well, and is gentler than physical exfoliators which are off-limit for me. However, it is both pigmented and perfumed, which in combination with glycolic acid does irritate my skin after use. I usually only go for this toner once a week, because of this. Skin is super soft and radiant after application, but also a bit red. It doesn't sting or burn too much, so it is still quite gentle in comparison to other toners and exfoliators I have tried.

In conclusion, a good exfoliator but bad product for my sensitive skin. For a good long-term use glycolic acid toner that doesn't contain any unnecessary irritants or colorants, my search will have to continue.

Really nice

Its really nice daily exfoilator. Ive been using it and switching with another toner, like 3-4 days a week. Its doing its job, dead skin is gently removed, it helps other products to sink in. I love it because of its gentle exfoliation. It also nicely hydrates, my skin was loving it. Only thing I dont like is its price. Probably it depends on a country, but in Poland its pricey, and ordering from abroad isnt much more efficient.
I switched to COSRX aha/bha toner for some time, and it
s also exfoliating nicely, but I didnt see that good hydration as from Mario Bandescu. Its not irritating my sensitive skin, so great ! I felt a little bit itching on my face after using, but its typical for all chemical exfoliators so it just means its working. Nice, I recommend !

My Gateway To Acids

When I was starting on acids a few years ago, I religiously used this toner to keep my acne-prone skin clear and radiant. The only downside is that if you use it near the eyes, I wouldn't say it stings--but it did something like that to my eyes but only a bit. Over the years, I noticed that the ingredient list expanded (on the product's label) but I didn't really see any difference. I only moved on to other acid toners because I felt like I needed something stronger than 2%.

In short: great acid toner for beginners.

One thing to note though, it is not fungal acne safe. It contains PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. Now I don't exactly remember if it triggered my fungal acne back then because I was also using other products with oils but it was one of my favorite skincare products because it helped keep my skin clear.

As of 02/26/2019, there are only four ingredients listed here on Skincarisma.

This is the current ingredient list that I have on my bottle and on the Mario Badescu website:

Aqua (Water, Eau), Propylene Glycol, Glycolic Acid, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Chloride, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, CI 42090 (Blue 1), CI 45410 (Red 28), CI 19140 (Yellow 5)
