Irritated my rosacea

I have rosacea and combination skin type, and I suspect malassezia too. I used this essence for about a week and it made my skin very red and itchy, mostly around the cheek area. No pimples/breakouts though. I stopped it 4 days ago and my face has calmed down a bit. I'm not sure what ingredients caused this flare up, the only other essence I've used that had similar symptoms was Cosrx's Galactomyces 95. Unfortunately this essence just isn't suitable for my skin type. On the upside, it did smooth out my skin texture.
