Love this in the summer!!

Living in Texas, you gotta update your skincare routines in the hot summer to adjust with the heat. I have combo/oily skin and acne prone, so I need a moisturizer that i can use in the daytime underneath makeup and not feel so thick. Love the Water Cream because it's light enough for Texas heat and keeps my face hydrated.

Great for combo/oily skin, less great on my dry skin.

If you're looking for a lightweight, daytime moisturizer, this one is worth giving a shot. It is slightly fragranced, so beware if you have very sensitive skin. It has great slip and a little bit goes a long way, but I think that mostly has to do with the dimethicone. Overall, it's a lovely moisturizer to have when I want something to double as a primer underneath my makeup.

Pros:
Very lightweight, sinks into skin right away to a smooth finish. no tackiness whatsoever
Works great under makeup
Full of clean, powerful ingredients

Cons:
Dimethicone - I tend to not like dimethicone or silicone type products (pore filling/blurring primers mostly). Can clog pores and cause breakouts.
Not for dry skin! The Deep Cleanse and The Water Cream are certainly products meant for oily to combo skin.
Price. I can certainly understand how people would adore this and be willing to pay full price, but I think I can find something that suits me a bit better.

Made me break out

I wanted to like this SO BADLY. But the dimethicone made me break out like crazy. I used this along with Tacha's The Deep Cleanse. I liked how they both smelled and my skin felt good, but then my acne became inflamed and more pimples started to pop up.
