Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil
(Skin Protecting) |
I keep it on my face two hours before going to bed. It's best to remove it to prevent staining of pillow and bed sheets. During weekends, I keep the oil on my face, neck and decolltage for longer, if I'm certain that I won't face any people or leave the house that day. My skin looks more radiant and feels less sensitive after use and I can see an overall improvement of skin texture after a 4-week use, 2-3 x per week.
I have heard great things about seabuckthorn oil and it's ability to help skin heal. So I picked this up with a reorder of my other ordinary oils (Marula, rosehip, and argan). I find this oil difficult to work into my routine as it is very staining. It is seabuckthorn fruit oil which is very brightly red/yellow coloured and it stains my skin and clothing yellow. The efficacy of the oil is probably fine but I have difficulty using it regularly because it makes me look jaundiced and ruins my clothes. In the future I would look to purchase a seabuckthorn seed oil instead.
