I mean that's basically what it is to me. I personally found that it worked best in a steamy environment because of all the humectants in it. Right after taking a shower, I'd wash my face, tone, essence, and put this on for really soft, hydrated, dewy, soothed skin, and then follow with my other serums. Would my pores look minimized like they claim they would? Yes... I suppose. For a short amount of time. But it really does not do much and there are more plumping, dewy, and softening Sodium Hyaluronate Serums than this. But as always YMMV.
