I love this product from the body shop. I've been using this for 2 years already.

the texture of the content is somewhat watery and light which is i really like. I don't feel like a film in you face rather it felt like you weren't putting any heavy sunscreen.
it's kinda priced high for a sunscreen but it's fine with me as long as it hasn't worsen by problem with fungal acne.
when applying you will only need a small amount so you can use a tube for a long time.
overall. I'm satisfied!

It works fine, but there are better products out there

It works well for me, who has an allergy problem with most skincare and cosmetic products. Most products I have tried in the western world, give me (vesicular/dyshidrotic) eczema on my fingers (not my face!). Although it's possible for me to apply skincare by wearing gloves, I've been looking for products that don't cause these annoying tiny itchy blisters on my fingers. Unfortunately, I still have no idea what exactly is causing this allergic reaction.

I had trust in the Body Shop, as several products from them did not give me the above mentioned symptoms. I was looking for some UV-protection, but then figured out they only had some UV-protection for the face. Nonetheless I wanted to give it a go. A year later, when I started doing proper morning and night skincare routines, I incorporated this essence into my morning regime.

The product is a milky and light texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. My skin glows even after applying it once and I feel my skin being more supple after using it multiple times. I noticed my skin sometimes has patches of redness, but with this essence, I feel like my skin is more balanced out. The redness is not gone, but less obvious.

I'm not entirely sure how well it does in UV-protection, as I don't have a skin that is prone to sunburns at all. It does average in moisturizing the skin. If you are looking for something really moisturizing, there are definitely better products out there.

Due to my sensitive skin and the specific conditions it brings with, it's hard to find good products I can buy locally in the Netherlands. Thus, I find the price average (€35 for 60ml).

Heavily perfumed, strong smell of alcohol, irritating to skin.

Bought it last summer to help with the Devon sun. 1 week consistent use and the odd test since has proved to me that it is** not** worth the money.

Feels like a watery essence texture and absorbs quickly, however makes my face very red when applied. Would not let it anywhere near my eyes to avoid any watering up or general irritation.

As it's full of alcohol I find it very drying on my skin. Helps dry out spots on the first application but does irritate the skin. If I apply it again the next day it just causes more spots and redness and I'm worse off than when I started.

Don't understand the hype on the brand's website but if I were you I'd stay clear of this and go for a more soothing, less alcohol based SPF such as the COSRX Aloe one (not irritating to my skin).
