I bought this moisturiser which carries the National Eczema Association's Seal of Approval, thinking that it is safe and suitable for my eczema-prone skin. After using it as a hand cream for a few days, I developed dyshidrotic eczema (itchy blisters). Subsequently, I found out from my eye specialist that I'm allergic to Benzalkonium Chloride (preservative), which makes my eyelids swell. When I took a closer look at the ingredients of Aveeno Baby Dermexa Moisturizing Cream, I was shocked to find Benzalkonium Chloride listed. Those who wish to understand more about how Benzalkonium Chloride affects dermatitis patients, please read this Dermatology Advisor article: https://www.dermatologyadvisor.com/home/topics/dermatitis/benzalkonium-chloride-a-skin-irritant-and-sensitizer-in-patients-with-dermatitis/
