Good, lightweight lotion

This a very basic, lightweight, and hydrating lotion. It wears well under makeup. I like to use this with the Vanicream Cleanser as a "reset" when my skin is irritated or I am breaking out. (Although, SkinCarisma says that the ingredient "Glyceryl Monostearate" is a fungal acne trigger, which might explain why I never saw an improvement in my fungal acne when I was using this lotion!) I would recommend this as a basic lotion to any skin type, except for those who struggle with fungal acne (d'oh).

Simple & effective

I have several moisturizers that I use depending on how my skin is feeling, but this is probably my favorite just because I can use it no matter the day. Although it's not as heavy as other creams I might use at night, it's moisturizing enough that I'm satisfied with how my skin feels in the morning. At the same time, it's not greasy, which means that I can also use it during the day under a sunscreen. I would recommend this moisturizer for anyone because of how simple it is, but it would probably be especially effective for distressed skin or skin that is recovering from a reaction. It did not aggravate my acne or cause closed comedones. It does not burn or tingle on my skin. It absorbs quickly and is also great for the body as well as the face.

I'm also a big fan of the packaging. You get a lot of product for a very good price, and you don't need to use very much in order to feel the benefits. It also has a locking pump, which is very convenient for traveling.
