funny smell with very silicony feeling

I am not even half way through the bottle, but I know I won't repurchase this one. Before ordering this I read a lot of reviews and everyone was praising this product and complemented on the scent being nice and pineapple-like also making their skin glow.
Maybe mine is a bit oxidised (although it shouldn't be), but the scent rather reminds me of some kind of multivitamin complex and a bit medicine-like. I really don't fancy that part. Also it has a silky, silicone-like feeling that feels like it clogs my pores. However it did make my acne scars fade a bit, but I haven't noticed any glowing effect.
