I find that I need a few pumps per use but it lasts a awhile. Lather it in your hands for a few seconds before putting it on your face. Another review mentioned leaving it on for a little bit. I haven't tried that yet but sounds like a good suggestion.
My favourite oil cleanser as my first cleanse so far. Tried few others but I always come back to this. Removes my sunscreen and make up very well, leaving me feeling moisturized and fresh before proceeding to my second cleanse. It contains 4 refined beauty oils which are olive oil, jojoba oil, macadamia oil and rosehip oil also my one of my favorite ingredient that is hyaluronic acid. Great for sensitive skin as it has no mineral oil, fragrances, colourants, preservatives and alcohol.
Foundation, lipstick, sunscreen, powder and water proof make up that I wear all remove effectively by this. And if you lucky, this can remove or loosen your clogged pores. While massaging it on my face I can feel some kind of beads on my face, well my clogged pores of course. This is my first product of using cleansing oil. I've tried cleansing balm but I still prefer oil. Love it. Quite surprise that this could cause fungal acne, which I suffer right now. Been using for years but just notice my fungal acne worsen recently. Don't know whether this is the cause. I did tried new product and that could be it. Anyway my goal is to try products that free from fungal acne trigger. And I'm still using this one because I know my face can handle it.
IMHO, Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil is pretty much like most Hada Labo products - it does the job well but do not expect to be blown away by the slip or scent. If I want to pamper myself, I much prefer Tatcha's One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil but on days when I just want to get the sunscren and makeup off of my face as quickly as possible, I reach for Hada Labo. NOTE I suggest massaging it in and then letting it remain on your face for about 10-15 minutes if you are using it remove any water-proof makeup or makeup that does not easily come off. After, emulsify with water and you should be okay - do not be alarmed if your eyesight is a bit blurry after rinsing the oil off. It tends do that to lots of people.
