Solid product for finicky skin/when you want to throw down some cash

I purchased this product on sale after wreaking havoc on my moisture barrier and wanting to simplify my skincare routine. Besides being exorbitantly expensive, this is actually a solid product and I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed it.

I have sensitive, combination skin with subtype 1 rosacea; my cheeks are excessively dry and tight, while my T-zone can get quite oily. I have a lot of redness and dullness. Typically moisturizers are a bit of a crap shoot for me. Oils and creams turn me into a grease ball while gel moisturizers (my overall preference) tend to make my cheeks feel like the Sahara desert.

Per the recommendations I used this (and only this) product after cleansing in the evening. I don't wash my face in the morning and just apply sunscreen, so I've used this daily for about 90 days with no other products (a big stretch beyond the 60 days-woth you're supposed to get and I still haven't reached the bottom of the bottle). The texture is somewhat between a lotion and a cream, it's very silky and has no scent. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any sort of slick appearance.

There is a noticable difference in the texture and tone of my skin. The erythema on my face has diminished and I haven't had even a hormonal breakout since beginning this. The oiliness on my forehead has decreased and my cheeks are no longer itchy and tight. No single other product I've ever used has been able to accomplish that for me (I normally require multiple different products to get my skin at its current state, which is tough with how sensitive my skin is). My skin just looks glowy and hydrated.

Overall I'm happy I purchased this product. It has single-handedly turned my skin around with minimal effort from me. I'm not sure I'd repurchase given the price tag (though it has replaced most steps for me). I think the results of this could easily be accomplished with a small handful of less-expensive products, but if you have finicky skin that is easily irritated, this might be worth a shot if you want to drop more money than you're comfortable spending on a single product.

*Pros: *lovely texture, not sensitizing, calms redness, balances combination skin,

*Cons: * expensive as holy water, can't tell how much product I've used, wasteful packaging
