Best aloe gel for fungal acne-prone skin
Skin Type: oily Skin
Skin Concerns: Post Inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), Acne, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

This is my holy grail aloe gel because it has propolis which inhibits the growth of fungal acne. It does well as a moisturizer for my oily skin and also helps calm the redness of my acne.
It's light and quickly absorbs into my skin instead of sitting on top of it like other gel moisturizers.

I simply love this one
Skin Type: dry Skin

My thoughts on Benton aloe propolis soothing gel
As a lot of you already know by now I am a sucker for aloe products and I always use aloe gels for a lot of different reasons like sunburn, moisturizer, hair etc. This one is a aloe vera gel but it also has propolis in it which is good for acne (fighting it that is), moisturizing, soothing etc. I will do a separate post on propolis later on so I will not go in deep in this post. Propolis is basically glue used by bees.

I only got a sample of this one so I will not do a full review until I have purchased the full sized product.

I really love this product as well as all the other aloe vera products I have tested out. You should do a patch test before using it though just to make sure your skin doesn’t react to this type of product.

It absorbs really well and fast into the skin and my skin feels really cool after applying it. If you have oily skin this might be the only type of moisturizer you will need (or you can simply add another one on top). I have really dry skin and this is not enough for my dry skin. I always use this more as a serum type of product and not for its moisturizing abilities.

This product is really amazing for calming redness or a reaction caused by other skin care products.

You can use this the same way you use aloe vera gel.

The gel is clear and melts really fast when applying it to the skin.

An okay product

When I'd to drop my Cosrx cleanser as it seemed to be really drying out and irritating my skin, my face exploded with a lot of pimples: small and large. I started to search for a good affordable solution that could control oil and suppress most of my acne.

This is a clear, light-weight fluid that's more like watery. If there's any fragrance, I can't smell it.

The main star ingredients: 80% aloe vera and 10% propolis.

Both of these are said to be able to calm down and heal angry skin, or even possibly treat acne. This product is also said to be able to control oil production.

What it did: it goes on nicely, it's also very cooling. It absorbs very quickly and dries to a matte finish. It did help a little with my terrible acne.

It was unable to get rid of my angry eczema red patches but it was soothing and might have helped prevent more from happening. When it came to oil-production, control was so-so and my face is still quite oily(especially my nose).

While it's nice to use, it doesn't help in really suppressing acne and oil-control isn't very strong0. When the tube runs out, I will be trying the Curel sebum range or the Hada Labo Medicated Gokkujyun Skin Conditioner(aka Blemish & Oil Control Hydrating Lotion), whichever won't brighten my skin(I'm already pale enough).
