broke me out badly

I bought this hoping to make my skin smoother but it caused me to have an overnight reaction of these inflammatory pimples that scarred. Herbivore Bakuchiol is a resurfacing serum that has made my skin so smooth and removed texture and bumps...without the terrible reaction I got from Drunk Elephant's TLC Framboos.

My first AHA/BHA serum, works well for me

I use this once or twice a week, normally followed up by their marula oil or sometimes whatever moisturizer I'm using at the moment. I don't really have anything to compare this to, other than the first aid beauty radiance pads and caudalie radiance serum. So far, I really like this and don't think will switch to another AHA/BHA product (for reference I'm 25 and just don't want to overdo with chemical exfoliants). This serum in combination with marula oil leaves my skin really smooth, healthy looking, evened out and a little matte even (but not in a drying way).
I never had any sensitivity to it. It didn't really tingle when I first started using it. When get a painful swollen red pimple aka future whitehead, I apply a thick layer of this serum and sometimes it kills the pimple, but a couple of times it just delayed pimple's maturation.
