Before using this sunscreen i always used Neutrogena sports sunscreen (which was a big mistake cuz it made my oily and breakout), I laid off of sunscreen (which was also a big mistake). This suncreen was perfect because it didn't leave my skin feeling heavy or greasy, it left a matte feel to the face which i prefer.
I use it last in my skincare routine, putting a little on the back of my hand and massaging it into my face in sections. It didn't break me out nor did it irritate my skin.
a bonus is that its 100% mineral based so you won't be harming or killing any corals in the ocean and its perfect for sensitive skin.
moving on to this sunscreen is a great choice, just wish it came in a bigger size.
Now let me just start off by saying that I don't usually read the reviews on skincare products before I buy them unless they're insanely bad, because everyone's skin is different. Leaving a review saying "it gave me acne" does not help the company understand what happened with your skin nor help any first-time customers because EVERYONE'S SKIN IS DIFFERENT. A product that gave me acne (oily skin, non-sensitive) may not give anyone else acne. Everything works differently on different people.
That being said, I have tried many sunscreens throughout my life and all of them gave me a white wash- and I'm white!- except this one. It gets a bad wrap because of its fragrance (sort of a minty medical product, I would say) but I have yet to find a sunscreen that works this well with my skin. It leaves a nice matte finish and I have never noticed any white cast on my skin after using it, ever.
If you have sensitive or dry skin, I would not recommend this. There is alcohol and some type of fragrance in it which would surely irritate your face. However, if you have oily skin I would definitely say try it out, it's about $10 on Amazon and won't break your budget like most sunscreens I've tried.
