Wonderfully hydrating and soothing. My skin feels super plump after applying and it plays well with any other product I've applied on top. I really enjoy that it's on the slightly more viscous side of serums without being sticky at all. It has become a regular in my skin care regime and is definitely my go-to serum for when my skin is irritated or slightly sensitized by the likes of an acid or retinoid.

This is probably the first time I come across a single ingredient product that is completely natural, yet works wonders at soothing, hydrating and protecting the skin. It comes in a hefty 50ml glass bottle with a dropper, and in my opinion, is a steal for the price. I didn't expect much at first, but as soon as I applied it to my face after essence, I knew I scored. The texture is just great - really viscous and bouncy, but not sticky(as long as you don't apply it too thickly). The dropper sort of controls the product, so it's almost hard to pick up or squeeze out too much. I apply 3 to 4 drops to my face and neck, and it spreads out very easily, absorbing pretty fast and leaving my skin super hydrated. Despite me using this serum twice daily, it lasted me almost 5 months. It has a natural, slightly sweet pleasant scent that doesn't linger on the skin. Beta glucan is basically nature's hyaluronic acid that plumps the skin from within, preventing wrinkles and strengthening skin barrier. I do feel my skin being soothed and see redness reducing over time. Not to mention it serves as a magnet for the upcoming moisturizer. I also know that some people with oiler skin types skip moisturizer altogether after applying this serum.
I think this is an amazing option for those who are dehydrated and want to improve skin barrier without complicating their skincare routine.
