I've been using this cleanser for about 8 months now. My experience using this product has been all around great.
This is the first cleanser I've used that is well suited for my dry skin. I no longer have a stripped and tight feel after cleansing. The cleanser has a nice creamy consistency that leaves your skin feeling hydrated and soft. All you need is just one pump, because it goes a long way. While using this product I've noticed that my skin appears less dull, which could be from the niaminamide. This is very gentle on my skin and I have never experienced any irritation. But, It is important to note that I do not have sensitive skin.
This is a perfect go-to cleanser if want something simple that can do the job. I highly recommend this product, plus it's affordable!
I have combination oily skin and use clinique liquid cleanser (oily skin formula) nearly every day. I've been looking for some cleanser that was a bit gentler to use in the harsh winter weather, because my skin doesnt get as oily and gets a little more sensitive (probably from the harsh wind and dry climate in my area)
I've tried this cleanser on and off for a few months, across different conditions (more/less oily, more/less makeup, warmer/cooler weather, with pimples/with clear skin, with/without oil cleanse first) but I cant figure out how to make this product NOT sting my face. And I mean, it STINGS like an overly aggressive peel within 2 seconds of spreading this cleanser on my face.
I'm comfortable with chemical actives, and my face doesn't normally react to products the way it reacts to this one, so I am wondering if I got a bad batch or something...or, maybe it's just all wrong for my skin. I generally love La Roche Posay products, so this one is truly puzzling to me!
What did this product do that your previous products didn't?
I've been on the search for a great cleanser since forever. Like everyone else I've been getting pimples since I hit puberty and always thought the cause was oily/acne prone skin until a couple of years ago I realised that it might not be that (I've always had the painful to move skin feeling after washing my face but I've never consulted with a dermatologist). I've switched to gentler cleansers but my problems continued until a week ago I found this one. My skin feels amazing - it feels clean, looks smooth and plump, not stripped of its natural oils and moisture. It has no perfume, sulfates or alcohol so my skin is not irritated in any way. And I don't want to jinx myself but I've seen none of my usual pimple pals so far. I felt the difference in my skin the very same day I started using it but I promptly waited to write this review.
