I used to swear by this product when I was younger and didn't know better. I have very oily skin, and thought the best product to solve all my problems would be something that would wash all of it away. This gave my face a great squeaky-clean feeling after every use that made me think it was doing a good job. The reality is, though, that even for skin as extremely oily as mine, stripping all the oil away is a bad, bad thing. It was severely dehydrating and was actually making my skin over-produce oil because it kept getting stripped away. Oily folks, do yourselves a favour and use a cleanser that hydrates your skin. Since I made that switch, I've had zero problems with oiliness. None. Nada. Zilch. This kind of product here is not going to help you.
Very, very drying. The coal bits provide a nice light exfoliation but the soap itself strips the skin of a lot of moisture.
But it lasts incredibly long, I am not even sure how I will finish a single bar. Will probably only reach for it if I really need it, won't be re-purchasing.
