No sticky, oily, white-cast residue. It has an oily cream consistency that my skin absorbs well as if I didn't apply anything to my face except that it leaves a bit of shine. Doesn't look bad though. I have a sensitive skin and it doesn't leave my face red even though it has a lot of essential oils. If you're looking for a sheer and lightweight spf, go for this product! Note that there is nothing much special about this product besides that it is a chemical sunscreen that feels lightweight on skin. It's not tinted nor will it cover hyperpigmentations and fine lines (I used to have a sunscreen that does all of the above and it raised the bar high). Rated 4 stars because of its strong fragrance that lasts for few minutes.
I think most people said that this is for dry skin. I have mostly oily skin with sometimes my chin area kinda dry and also around the T-Zone (is this combination (?)) but mostly oily skin and I have used this product for a year. I use this when I was really into skin care and when I was THAT lazy so I did not use anything beside face wash and sun screen. It's never a problem to my face, leave a bit shine to my face, it's fine. THE BEST PART is that it does not leave white cast no matter how much you use it and it has zinc oxide which I love
Having quite sensitive skin, it puzzles me how this sunscreen doesn't irritate my skin all that much, given all of the essential oils it contains. I've read that the company formulated it carefully considering this exact issue. Either way, I could not be more happy it agrees with my skin, because this is of the best textured sunscreens with this level of protection out there.
It has a gel/moist cream-like consistency that's incredibly lightweight and leaves my skin glowy with zero white cast, yet not greasy whatsoever. It does not roll off my face or make it dry, in fact it feels bouncy and just a tad tacky, which serves as an amazing makeup base(does not break up my foundation). It really glides over with no dragging. I found that I could layer it a lot without my skin feeling overly suffocated. It's slightly yellowish in color and has a natural lemon/citrus scent(not my cup of tea, but I'll let it slide). I recommend shaking the tube before use, due to some product separation from the oils, especially in hot temperatures.
In addition, it did not seem to clog my pores as much as some other sunscreens I've used, although it is partially chemical, so I felt it did gave me some rare pimples. Diligent face cleansing after a long day of ware is essential.
Overall, I recommend erring on the side of caution if you have extremely sensitive skin, possibly patch testing beforehand. Otherwise, this product is phenomenal and suits all skin tones! Personally, I would repurchase after exploring similar quality physical SPF options.
