Having quite sensitive skin, it puzzles me how this sunscreen doesn't irritate my skin all that much, given all of the essential oils it contains. I've read that the company formulated it carefully considering this exact issue. Either way, I could not be more happy it agrees with my skin, because this is of the best textured sunscreens with this level of protection out there.
It has a gel/moist cream-like consistency that's incredibly lightweight and leaves my skin glowy with zero white cast, yet not greasy whatsoever. It does not roll off my face or make it dry, in fact it feels bouncy and just a tad tacky, which serves as an amazing makeup base(does not break up my foundation). It really glides over with no dragging. I found that I could layer it a lot without my skin feeling overly suffocated. It's slightly yellowish in color and has a natural lemon/citrus scent(not my cup of tea, but I'll let it slide). I recommend shaking the tube before use, due to some product separation from the oils, especially in hot temperatures.
In addition, it did not seem to clog my pores as much as some other sunscreens I've used, although it is partially chemical, so I felt it did gave me some rare pimples. Diligent face cleansing after a long day of ware is essential.
Overall, I recommend erring on the side of caution if you have extremely sensitive skin, possibly patch testing beforehand. Otherwise, this product is phenomenal and suits all skin tones! Personally, I would repurchase after exploring similar quality physical SPF options.
As an combo/oily girl I've always had a problem with finding a sunscreen that wasn't greasy and didn't leave a white cast especially being a WOC. This sunscreen isn't oily, no white cast, and actually gives a slight glow. It also doesn't smell like a typical sunscreen because of the essential oils, which potentially might be irritating to some but not on my skin, thank god lol. It's a staple in my routine now.
