I bought this because I heard it was a dupe for the Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer, and I wanted something more lightweight for my oily skin. It's definitely not that moisturizing, as I didn't feel as I normally do when I use the Cetaphil daily moisturizer (which I love), so I don't really think those with dry skin will really like this. Also coincidentally, I started getting a bunch of small under the surface bumps between my eyebrows, and I started breaking out really badly around my ch...
i love this because its ACTUALLY moisturizing but its not fungal acne safe !!!!! ;( and i also just bought 2 and they were expensive ! AHHHHHHHHH if you don't have fungal acne i say give this a try...but cerave is also better ah ha ha haahahaha. For my fungal acne it hasn't really done anything to it so far, maybe it got slightly worse i cant tell at this point. i got too much acne on my forehead !!! it says i have to write more which i don't want to so ill just write a bunch of stuff to get t...
I think my skin actually got worse with this product. I don't think the ingredients really benefited my skin because silicone is so high on the ingredients list. I wouldn't say that I'm sensitive to silicones whatsoever but it's more that it seemed to act as a "filler." As a result, my skin was not nearly as hydrated as it was with the belief aqua bomb. It made my skin more oily and caused breakouts due to the excess oil. Definitely not a dupe for the aqua bomb in my opinion.
it was hard to find a budget friendly gel moisturizer for oily skin, despite this being targeted for dry skin it still works wonders on my oily dehydrated skin. I used the regular version of this, but it contains fragrance and I wasn't a fan. the regular one moisturized alright during summer but when winter came around it wasnt enough. for both winter and summer i use this now and it keeps me from over producing oils.
My skin has gotten dehydrated and flaky because of my Tret prescription so I've tried many heavy moisturizers in an attempt to fix my skin barrier. So one day I picked up this gel cream moisturizer out of desperation and i was surprised at how soft my skin was the following morning. My skin is softer and definitely hydrated now after weeks of use.
