Used to Love it...now Disappointed :(

I used to LOVE this shampoo and conditioner. I religiously used this or the "Tea Tree Mint" shampoo/conditioner for like 7 years. I loved that it's sulfate free and made my thick wavy hair look fabulous. HOWEVER, as bummed as I am to let it go, I'm done with the brand now for a handful of reasons:

*Dishonest Marketing: *The brand markets itself as being natural, but all of their products contain at least 1-2 ingredients that score an 8-9 out of 10 on the EWG rating. And I'm assuming if you're on this site, you probably care about that.

Irritating Ingredients: Those ingredients I mentioned above. And also, this is very important, DON'T USE IF YOU HAVE BAD DANDRUFF. Those "fungal acne trigger" symbols next to ingredients, mean they also make dandruff worse (particularly seborrheic dermatitis, often caused by the same fungus as fungal acne). My boyfriend's dandruff started getting progressively worse about a year ago, and recently got to the point where his scalp is outright bloody and painful. This is what got me started researching the ingredients in the products we use. Turns out this shampoo/conditioner combo ( and OGX Tea Tree Mint Shampoo/Conditioner + OGX Coconut Curls Styling Milk) makes his scalp WAY worse.
