Soothing and hydrating
Skin Type: dry Skin
Skin Concerns: Anti-Aging (Fine lines & Wrinkles), Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin

Holy grail for me. Soothes my skin no matter how irritated it is and never stings, even when it's chapped. Makes my skin feel plump and bouncy. I use it after cleansing and exfoliating. I love the very subtle earthy scent! If you're not into earthy smells, no worries - it does not linger for even a minute, and it's very subtle.

Very good and non irritanting!
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Eczema, Rosacea, Blackheads, Sensitive Skin

What did this product do that my previous products didn't?
Well it was hard to find a toner that didn't have any alcohol or fragrance. The most toners leaves my skin very very itchy. i have rosacea and alcohol on my skin... well it feels like burning or going threw the hell. So the minimal list of ingridients made me think before buying that the product maybe could be good.
How am I including it in my routine?
I'm currently using about a mount ago and as my second step of my skin care routine (after cleansing).
What did this product most help with?
With hydration, cleansing my pores. I think it made my blackheads on my nose smaller... It is a quemichal exfoliator and i think it makes my skin so clean... love it.
Was it effective for my skin type and/or skin concerns?
Oh yeah, my large pores on my nose. Gotta love it.
How long did it take for me to see effects?
About 3-4 days and my pores were really getting smaller.
How did my skin react to it?
Really well! It doesnt have any agressive ingridient and smell. its really pleasent for sensitive skin (like mine). It imediatly hydrates my skin and cleans it.

good texture, minimal ingredients

Got this essence a while ago to try the 7step method after hearing about anti-inflammatory benefits of the Astragalus Membranaceus root(read about opposing opinions since then).
To be completely honest, I'm not certain it has made any revolutionary difference, but it felt hydrating and seemed to calm down my skin slightly after using an acid toner. Not sure it reduced redness all that much. The texture is not too runny, not too viscous, like a serumy type essence. Pretty good for a 7step, but I found it just a bit too slick on the skin and ended up patting it in 3 times instead. Surprisingly, it lasted at least 6 months that way, as you only need a couple drops for one layer. I personally wouldn't use it on a cotton pad, just because it's a little too gentle and heavy for that. Absorbs relatively quickly. It doesn't seem to have any color or scent, and its minimal ingredient list might benefit those with very sensitive/reactive skin.
Will be venturing out to find other essence toners, but wouldn't mind repurchasing in the future.
