I've tried COSRX BHA liquid, paula's choice BHA, TO Glycolic acid, TO Mandelic acid, and Benton Aloe BHA and they all failed me either due to allergy, fungal acne or that it is too strong for me. Stridex is still plenty strong and the recommended use of 2-3 times a day boggles my mind. However, whenever I swipe the pad on my face, I don't feel any stinging or warming or burning sensation, but I do feel the menthol working on my skin. I don't really mind it though as it does give a cooling sensation. Anyway, THIS THING WORKS. All of the acne I have that's been hiding under my skin for weeks or months is suddenly brought up to a head with constant use of this stridex bha. It's awesome. However it is very drying and can be irritating too as it did irritate my nose area which is the most sensitive part on my skin. I saw some recommend to wash it off after 15 minutes or more to avoid any irritation and I think I'm gonna do that too.
after pregnancy after pregnancy I had very bad back acne my husband was rubbing this every evening on my back in 2 weeksweeks I sawweekssawweeksweeksweeksweekweeks I saw dramatic difference in my back acne it helped a lot will buy again and again just for couple times a month repeating just to be sure that I will not come back
Very drying, but it was very helpful for acne. Cleared up my skin very well, not everything, but most of it. Not a huge fan of the waste it creates, but otherwise it's a regular product for me. I used to use it daily, but now I use it once every few days to deal with any minor breakouts.
This product has saved my skin from breakouts. However, I do not leave it on my skin. As suggested by f.c. from Simple Skincare Science, I leave it on for 30 mins and then wash it up and follow up with the remainder of my routine. It hasn't cleared all on my acne, but so far so good. I find that it does not irritate my skin using this method and I haven't experienced any burning or stinging.
