I have no idea why this cleanser isn't more popular, other than the brand being small and poorly known.
This was the product that convinced me that skincare actually works. A few years ago, before I had a routine, I stumbled into a perfumery to buy a Christmas present, and ended up leaving with this product.
My skin feels literally incredible after I wash with this stuff. The small amount of lactic acid leaves your skin smooth and soft, and so plumped up, especially your lips. It's absolutely not drying at all, either.
Unfortunately, after changing my birth control and moving halfway across the world to a totally different climate, I started to get acne and perioral dermatitis, which I hadn't dealt with previously. I needed a slightly more "proactive" cleanser after that, but now that my acne is under control again, I will be repurchasing to use as an AM cleanser.
I literally love this stuff so much and miss/crave the feeling of washing my face with it.
Pros: Gentle, hydrating, restoring, balancing, redness-reducing, great for delicate skin, plumping, smells gently like baby powder.
Cons: Not super helpful for acne, hard to find since the brand is less well known and mostly sold in France or at boutique skin care stores.
