I have normal skin now, but oily tzone since i've learnt to control my oils with products, but I turned to this cleanser someone recommened on youtube along with the Moisturzing Face Lotion and my skin completely broke out, I had papules all over my cheeks after using for 2 weeks. I used to use the Low Ph Cleanser by Cosrx, which also contains SA. Cerave claims to be good for a lot of people, but it didnt work for my super sensitive acne prone combo skin.

I have acne-prone, oily skin and this cleanser helps deliver some salicylic acid to my skin. I've never had much luck with leave on BHA, it never made a difference to my skin. While this product gets wash off because it's a cleanser, when I cleanse I leave it on for a 15-20 seconds then wash it off. I can tell it works because when I started my differin, my skin was getting a bit irritated from using this cleanser and retinol. I do think there is a small skin exfoliating factor to this product, but not as much as a leave on BHA. Nonetheless, this product gives me enough exfoliation and cuts out the amount of actives I put on my face. I use this in the morning and the hydrating cleanser at night.
