Great oil for dry, sensitive skin!
Skin Type: dry Skin
Skin Concerns: Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin

  • Okay. I would like to start my review by saying that this is something I will definitely repurchase. I love, love, LOVE it.
  • It's a colorless, odorless oil that feels thin, but is extremely moisturizing.
  • A few drops (4 for me) goes a long way as a thin layer is all you need.
  • Personally as I was patch-testing this product I felt that it doesn't absorb very well on its own, and I feel it works better when it has something (like a moisturizer) layered over it. I use it under Iunik beta-glucan moisturizer, and the oil sinks in almost immediately afterwards.

Holy grail for fungal acne
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Acne, Blackheads, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

I started using this The Ordinary's squalane about 8 months ago, and I don't think I'll ever switch to a new moisturiser unless this is discontinued. Doesn't make me break out and I never suffer from dryness after using this!

A little goes a long way so, even though the bottle looks small, it can last about 4/5 months easily.

Fungal acne/sensitive combo skin approved
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Post Inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), Acne, Rosacea, Sensitive Skin, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

I was quite skeptical that this oil would work in my skin given that any oil that skincare gurus recommend make me break out. Prior to my first application, my fungal acne was in full force meaning inflammated, red, white little pimples, and itchy. The next morning, I was in awe in the results. My left side pores were smaller and the acne healed and my right side was not itchy and healing. No break outs. I have been using for about 3 weeks now and my skin is getting better and better and no break outs so far.
